Whatever comes from this, Max only has himself to blame.

Deserves at least a reprimand because that type of move is not how racing should go.

If Lewis got a DNF due to this move then Merc should have the inquiry similar to RB after the Silverstone incident at Copse.

However Lewis got P1, they both finished and the fight is back on.

Agreed. RBR's argument is the merc won't have make the corner anyway

Of course they would argue that but LH's entry was slower (how else would Verstappen be able to get back up on the inside) and his on-board clearly shows him opening up the steering to avoid a collision with Verstappen. Plus he had the wider line.

I'm glad that no penalty was given during the race because it would have destroyed a really exciting battle but I would be surprised if he gets some form of punishment given that there were penalties given out for far milder cases.

Alpha Tauri P2 and P5

The Mercs have to be experimenting with the setup.

Max was summoned to the stewards after his qualifying because he failed to slow down when the double yellow came out after the incident where Gasley's front wing was damaged on the kerb sending debris on the track.
Max may incur a grid penalty if the stewards decide this in a meeting on Sunday morning.

Hamilton wins again from pole all the way through.

Max 2nd also had the fastest lap.

Tricky tricky race with so many punctures because of the curbs but this is massive damage limitation from RB with Max, hell of a start from him and had Alonso not forced him wide, i reckon he could’ve won this race… got the fastest lap too

2 more races to go and both driver's and constructor's championships too close to call. Looks like it's going to come down to the last race once neither of them get a DNF.

With two power tracks, looks like it's LH's title to lose now

Senna vs Prost 1st corner in suzuka... Can we be looking at a repeat in Yas Marina if max is still leading on points going into the final race

There’s a strong possibility that they could go into the final race leveled on points. There’s also the possibility that max can be crowned champion after the next gp… everything nicely poised

There will be a lot of future talk about Silverstone and Hungary if LH wins the title. Verstappen really deserves it this year.

I think therell be more around Merc's rear wing, ?das and the engine that Bottas never seemed to get. He's admitted they had different cars

Based on what? His driving style has proven that the sport still reeks of stink "white privilege".....

Had Lulu executed the same drives he would have been dragged to the stake and burnt.

Good driver yes. Future Champion? Definitely. Deserving of the title this year? No.

Ironic huh. The guys at rye house (where LH grew up karting) also said the same thing. There's a vid of some acquaintance of his also doing a video saying that LH is where he is BECAUSE he is black rather than facing adversity.
Either way, no doubting he's a great driver, but goat...not imo

Lewis tried to overtake on the inside of Copse.

No one ever attempts that when the cars are at a similar pace.

He should have gotten more than a 10s penalty for it.

10s stop and go seems fair.

Yeah Max got a pretty raw deal with that one, especially with Hamilton going on to win the race but I don't think I've been watching this sport long enough to have any real opinion about that one. Both sides raised good arguments.

But, with the championship likely to be won/ lost by less than 5 points, it could be argued that Bottas' deciding to clean up half the grid on the first turn in the Hungaroring could be the event that gave both Hamilton and Mercedes that championship. Look at the point difference that was caused by Bottas doing that non-consensual penguin dance.

Either way.... gonna be an exciting couple of weekends!
