heard a lot of middle aged recreational sportsmen go to docs and get treatment until their values reach the upper end of the "normal" range.

Eat clen, Tren hard, Anavar give up.
But seriously though, are people really considering the risks of using all these drugs as non athletes? I mean with all the deaths recently in the pro circle as well as complications later down the road. You pretty much have to live on HRT once you come off..

Been at 215-220lbs for years, on a 5' 9" frame. Anybody who knows me irl knows how long I've had the stereotypical dhal belly
When my size 36 pants started getting tight, I decided nah, enough of this
In 2019 I ate grass and meat for a month and dropped almost 20 lbs
I figured that can't be sustainable, so I finally took up a co-worker's offer to train with him at a gym
Did 4 days a week for a year, right up to lockdown. I was 185 at that point and fitting in sz 34 pants
Diet went to hell during lockdown and started back eating more rice, bread etc, because I was not going out to buy veggies anywhere. My routine was buying grass at the market every saturday. Still not comfortable with the market scene, so I'm growing a bit of tomatoes, lettuce etc to get back on the salad train
With gyms closed, I resurrected an old chuck norris total gym I had, and beat it for a year under lockdown. Not ideal, but it was surprisingly effective at keeping me in some sort of conditioning
A year ago I bought a Marcy gym pack from price smart and have been using that, along with a 40 lb dumbell set
I'm still at 190 but traded some fat for a bit of muscle
It's often discouraging because right now, I look exactly the same as I did 3 years ago. What keeps me going is tracking my strength gains and feeling less like a marshmallow and more like a stone wrapped in a marshmallow
The struggle continues
Have to train on a high protein defeceit to lose fat an gain muscle at the same time, it en easy but it doable bonus is you could go hard on an empty stomache. If you was a big boy all your life you never know what the real frame is like underneath keep going. Them 40 lb DBs does max out quick even when you taking your time and doubling up on one, had to resort to "unorthodox" weights to keep getting better.MG Man wrote:fat boy checking in here
