Police officer killed

Postby eekipoo » May 15th, 2013, 1:21 pm

Don't know if its a repost but i didn't see anything about it. For those of you who are in chaguanas regularly you should know this officer by seeing him. He always on busy corner doing his job. A few weeks ago went to licensing office to renew and we were sitting right next to each other, who would have know this young office would be killed... very sad

R.I.P Officer

(By Rhondor Dowlat)

DETAILS are still sketchy, however, preliminary reports state that Cpl Terry Abraham, assigned to Traffic Branch in Chaguanas Police Station was driving along Milton Road in Couva when a white stationwagon pulled up alongside him.

Its occupants opened fire on him. The car then sped off.

The killing is believed to have been a ‘hit’.

There is, at this time, a massive manhunt launched in the Claxton Bay area.

Abraham was well known for policing at Busy Corner in Chaguanas.

Several officers are plunged into shock and mourning over his death.

One officer described Abraham as an officer who “truly gave his best to d service, who was one of the most hard working cops and one who worked with relentless, fair, passionate and bravery”

R.I.P Abrie.

Must say a special thanks to Jack Warner for showing up at the Couva Health Facility so soon after the incident and his support extended to the family and friends of the officer.

Was unexpected but much appreciated.

Normal civilian not allowed the resources to protect them selves or receive the same level of response when a victim that the police brotherhood show each other. When an officer is shot they bend over backwards to find culprit, normally you would hear it's a gang related shooting yada yada...
