^ yes dirt rally looks good, I rather buy car racing from codemaster than something from EA, judging from the rubbish EA does make. Remember to enable 4X Anti Aliasing when you running PC games eh.

FXAA and or nvidia's TXAA is like FREE 3X Anti Aliasing. Costs no hit in performance but in terms of ubber quality and eye candy you cannot beat MSAA.

If your performance is good then use MSAA its the cleanest.

Been meaning to reinstall CMR 04 and 05 for a while then Dirt Rally gets announced out of nowhere.
The early access a little too early for me. Maybe as soon as hill climb mode is available.

So I have a great mother board brand new factory sealed never opened selling for $400 TT

Intel ASROCK 1150 with 100% solid cap capacitors.

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=641757

^ I also post a benchmark look how superior intel is to AMD in Gaming, even a celeron blowing out a liquid cooled overclocked quad core AMD in gaming.

I suggest one of you buy this board. With intel turbo boost which this board also happens to support and auto overclocks the CPU, you just need to buy a core i3 or i5 or heck Pentium CPU and 8GB DDR 3 RAM and you good to go any video card will do fine.

^ You feel is kicks

Look how this old ass outdated low end dual core i3 rape a 8 Core Water Cooler 4.7 GHZ AMD with 5 GHZ turbo mode lol

Ah $40 USD Haswell Celeron ripping that $300 USD 9590 8 core to shreds  37 vs 44 Min FPS. LOL and mind you Ark could actually use 8 cores cause it is a Unreal Engine 4 game eh

Except that:

- PC Games are:
--- cheaper
--- more plentiful
--- more diverse (more developers)
--- supported on win/linux/mobile
--- objectively better (gameplay, hour/$1)

- My gaming laptop:
--- comes with a screen, keyboard, trackpad
--- is mobile
--- is upgradable
--- is expandable
--- supports your controller anyway
--- is better looking
--- More useful: I can work when I want, play when I want, watch what I want, anywhere. I can walking into my office with my laptop without anyone batting an eye.

Also I get laptops free at work,, soooo.....

To get anything close to that on a PC you have to spend like $1500-$2000USD while a PS3 costs like $250? LOL

Can a 7 year old spec PC pull off anything close to that?

You all keep living a delusion and continue to stroke each other's corks while comparing frames per second lol

Bumping an old thread.

THE PS3 would have came out in 2006. It cannot be upgraded, I can still slap in whatever GPU or CPU I can get for cheap and run whatever modern games on the same CPU socket....

I running PS5 level games on a PC built in 2012 (CPU from 2009) , If a PS3 still working right now, it can only run PS3 games lmao.

Had to wait a decade to prove a point yes

Can pick up a few best sellers for next to nothing on Ps3

can upgrade to a SSD on ps3 as well

can the 2012 PC run one of the newer ray tracing GPUs? - that would be awesome

1. Same on Steam, From tetris to Crysis, an exe is an exe. No need to buy a whole new CD

2. Can you upgrade CPU/Ram/GPU on a PS3?

3 Can the PS3? Can any console out rn?
But also yes, although it would be bottle necked by the older components
