What vehicles are the hardest to resell now?

Postby RIPEBREDFRUIT » January 24th, 2014, 8:22 am

So what cars would you guys say is the hardest to sell used currently?
What cars have a niche that serves to be a disadvantage to their resale value?

Besides VW's terrible resale values, what other cars have proven to be a problem to get sold?

Despite the B14's niche, they sell like hot hops.

I partly disagree....the market for Ford is actually developing quickly. Once that happens, resale values will rise.

What about Opel and Rover (the cars, not Land and Range Rover)?

A slightly different perspective on vehicles with longest period to sell is:
Vehicles over 5 years with prices above $250,000, with level of difficulty increasing as price goes up.
The fastest used car sellers exist in the band $30,000-$100,000.
Brand appeal is then superimposed on the economic reality.

Agreed, but $150,000, not 250

It's not that pickups are hard to sell but it's uncanny that ppl want ridiculous prices for their used junk.
For example I saw a guy with a TBN Ranger that rotting on the door frame close to the wingshield and the guy want $60k for it! I bought a TCA Frontier when it was 6 yrs old for $65k and sold it a year after for the same price. TBN is like what over 12yrs old??!! Get real ppl...
