Yup, last night was probably the last night for it.

Heard it also exists at south oropouche but I never seen it there.

Saw it at matura about 20 years back when I went turtle watching. Your footsteps on the sea shore glowed.

As always its ppl that spoil a good thing. Everybody want to use their flash and torch light. Today I heard some of the most idiotic statements from 'scientists'...

Jesus is coming.

I dey expeckin somtin like avatar.

Ah hear the ppl throw stone an DE light dead.

De light migrate to ah next place...

The light was not seen because the moon was out... Ppl who were standing on the bridge around 2pm and saw the jumpers noticed that we only jumped when the moon was behind the clouds... And then the idiots who figured that out didn't realise that their flash would also affect the light.

Better allyuh stay in allyuh fackin house and stop disrupting our peaceful livelihoods... Ah setta cacahole that can't clean up their trash, want to throw every thing heavier than a feather in the water and parking like they in they gap...

Btw, I went last night (Friday night) and tonight (Saturday night) and they both were "still glowing" ..... Just saying, for those who think that it's not there anymore.

It stopped glowing, went last night and hardly saw anything. Never the less, 3/4 of the population was there. Standstill traffic from subway to the bridge. There's a DJ, bars and people selling little knick knacks now.

Also, despite the massive crowd, there were no police officers in sight to direct traffic.

How many police officers do you think Mayaro has, or needs... The number is never enough to handle this kind of traffic...

From since I remember bathing in the river it has been this way. A few weeks of no rain and the sea water makes its way all the way up... It never diminishes unless we get serious rain... The reason why ' it eh litin up' is because there is way too much moon light... You need a good tree sheltered spot to see the effects or just wait till the moon wanes...
