Journey and Steve Perry in Talks 2014

Postby bluefete » April 20th, 2014, 6:04 pm

Seems that Journey and Steve Perry are in talks for him to rejoin the band.

Arnel Pinada is going to make a solo album and may not return unless the price is right.

For the very young, teeny bopper tuners - take a listen to the great voice of Steve Perry or go play GTA.

Note as you listen - NO AUTO TUNE, NO LIP SYNC. NO PLAYBACK!!!!!!

Just a great voice.

Journey.....one of the leaders in the 80's. What has Steve Perry been up to after his solo albums in the mid 80s?

He broke his hip. Couldn't tour so the band moved on without him. That was maybe a decade ago

Would Steve Smith be back on drums?
I pretty much stopped listening to them since they brought in Augeri and Castronovo.

very bad move by pineda..
same sheit steve did in the 80's and look where it got him.. a couple hit songs and then nothing.
small reunion in the 90's then fallout again...

other than that there is some bad blood between neil schon and steve so it'll be interesting to see how this works out.

if steve really comes back it will be epic, i'll say that much

but do they have what it takes to keep up with the trends of 2014/15 and beyond? Their fans / crowd got a lot smaller over the years...

always a favorite btw (powerful voice):
