Looking to buy the new 2014 elantra from hyundai. Do you guys have any reviews and think that is a good buy ? i hear de transmission does give trouble.

yuh ever inquire why tranny does give trouble
well lemme tell yuh ah little of what I know
certain trannys are designed to work with specific fluids
alot of trinis fail to check change and put the correct tranny fluids
thus causing tranny failure
but that being said

you wanna roll in a hyundai???

I was kind of disappointed with the amount of hard plastics in the car. The 1.6L engine is reliable, but average at best in terms of horsepower and torque. Handling is okay, nothing spectacular.

However, fit and finish is clearly a cut way above Nissan and the other Japanese brands, except Honda. In my opinion, the aesthetics are way beyond anything the Japanese have to offer.

The car is very good value for money. It is also very reliable once you follow the manufacturer's scheduled maintenance.

People who mention lack of parts or availability of parts for Hyundai have no idea what they are talking about. I was getting parts from N&M for a 10 year old Hyundai that I had before and have no problem in getting Hyundai parts now.

I have no hesitation in recommending it once you remember what is the target market for the car (Hyundai's target market and not N&M's).
