It is internationally recognized and certified by IADC and others. It involves more upstream oil and gas courses like drilling or rig tech. Check Nesc website for contact.

Well guys i currently doing some research on Kenson School of Production and contemplating on doing the Offshore Production Operator Programme.
I’m not to concern about the age old saga of should i do City & Guilds vs UTT and who accredited and what not.
I currently in my last year of my B.A.Sc. in Utilities Engineering at UTT, possess a UTT Technicians Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a Journeyman Certificate in Industrial Maintenance from MIC.
I have worked in the industry as a mechanical maintenance tech for roughly 5 years but always wanted to work offshore for a BP OR a BG.do you guys think taking 9months to do the Offshore Production Operator Training At Kenson is going to be worth it, seeing that it is only offered fulltime.
dont know anyone personally who went there but there name always seem to ring out when it comes to offshore
i have read some stuff on tuner about Kenson but more towards the lower level courses they offer but nothing about the offshore thing
any advice guys????
