So it look like they passing through jamaica (line 6) and then handing over to some network called 'telia'. That hand over making the ping jump to 100ms. Definitely not a direct line to MIA or NY. Google searched telia and its a Sweedish company..wtf digicel, wtf

I need 5 ethernet ports so I plug in a router to the Digicel modem. Digicel wifi stops working and the router wifi is killer slow.
Switch off the router Wifi and Digicel wifi still not working.
Unplug the router and Digicel Wifi IMMEDIATELY works.
Disconnect the router and hook up a switch to the Digicel Modem. Digicel Wifi stops working.
Unplug the switch and Digicel Wifi IMMEDIATELY works
The router ethernet ports work fine. The switch ethernet ports work fine. Just that the Digicel router is balls
Anybody got a fix for this? I've checked solutions in this thread so far. None of them seem to apply to my situation
What did digicel support tell you when you called them?
So far I feel like they're guessing.
The first time I called, the guy was at a loss for an explanation. He concluded that my wall outlet isn't providing proper power to the modem.
Was late at night so I told him I'd test it and call back if anything. Stuck my multimeter in the outlet and I'm getting 115v. Put a clamp meter on the breaker and I'm sitting around 9amps load on a 20amp breaker. The modem is in no way suffering for power
Called back again, the lady jumped that I need a compatible brand switch. What brand? TP-Link they recommend (the same I've got). She's at a loss for an explanation and recommends I get one of their compatible switches installed.
So right now I'm waiting to setup a visit from Sales to install one of their switches to hopefully remedy the problem.
Looks like we're in the year 1993 when hardware was only compatible with SPECIFIC other brand hardware

Just rounding up this issue. Digicel service is a sheit. Some lady called to follow up on the issue. I explained my discontent with the lax service and she said she'd send it to another tech to solve it. It appears they tried some more configurations from their end. The 2.4GHz wifi works better than before but it still comes and goes every single minute.
I've since upgraded my Laptops to 5GHz wifi cards and run on that. I don't know which poison to drink anymore. Flow is sheit and Digicel is a different flavour of sheit

Is that flow as fibre or using the same coaxial to the modem?

Going good. I use the massy router/modem form inside and for garage and in street I use a secondary one.
