As a travelling officer, where on the new online form in the e-tax portal do you enter expenses incurred while using your vehicle? And what expenses are allowed?

Doesn't need to be a refund could use the letter id number on any letter you got from inland revenue

Submitted my 2014 tax return using the online etax system on June 23rd
Received my refund check yesterday in the mail!!!
Well done IRD/Min of Finance ( I feel like I'm living in a developed country)

Just call them, I did that and they gave me a recent letter ID over the phone. The help line is very helpful and they answer very fast.

I called them at eTax hotline on 800-8299 and gave them BIR# and got it.

filed June 1st
my claim went to audit for query because of my Tertiary level claim on Post grad programme
just called etax the query is cleared and cheque has been created and out for delivery

prior all manual cliames took avg 12-13 months for return cheque

I just received my cheques today!! lest than 2 weeks the ETAX system really fast an efficient really shocked especially knowing how fast the government systems work

Filed 27th June, refund has been issued, but still waiting on cheque in mail.

Go check your post office if the refund issued more that two weeks and you haven't gotten it.

Filed my 2015 last week Thursday via eTax. Let me see if they top the three weeks I experienced for my 2014 return.

Took about 6 months for 2014 and about 6 weeks for 2015.

Haven't got chance to register for e-tax. Kinda long process anyway.

Also I think they made a mistake for 2015.

Process isn't long at all...slightly inconvenient with the having to go into a TT Connect office but they usually take no more than 10 mins inclusive of wait time.

Don't forget to walk with some document(s) to show and/or verify your BIR number..you won't get to register for the e-Tax segment without it..only the TTConnect ID..even if you forget though, there's a Min. of Finance building on Ramsaran St., if you use the Chaguanas office.

The letter ID is supposed to be in the top right hand corner of the letter you get from the BIR office with your BIR number.

Got my 2015 refund check on Wednesday.
First time since 2011 I am up to date on tax returns being in and first time since never I am up to date on returns being processed.

got the assessment letter online but in it the total refundable is different to what is posted on viewing your refund status....hope this isnt a problem....

the waiting was approx 2 weeks.....talk about efficiency....i hope they keep it up

you can message them on there for clarification, not sure what that's about.

it was processed on 16th August

refund status indicate that it is processing as at 28th August

You should see something this week or next week for sure...the turnaround time for mines was approx 2 to 3 weeks
