the rumble strips on the pbr is a good idea,
plenty pbr drivers feel they could just mash and is free road

Agreed and I think the red Tuscon was in the other vehicle's blind spot also. The Grey vehicle still drive like a tuntun though . Situational awareness on the red Tuscon's part might have avoided this. Serious question, in a case like this, how does one explain this to insurance if making a claim?

Usual bro, "ah get ah bad drive."

Oh and as for Lancer split, I have lots of respect for them. Don't forget it was a Libero that crashed into a BMW 3-series some years ago in St. Clair and the Libero man survived. The bimmer driver unfortunately did not.

Another was the Cedia on the manzan stretch where the occupants survived too.

What explanation ? No one has to justify why their car has been damaged during regular lawful use, it is the insurance duty to pay no matter how much they 'investigate' . For instance ,if someone falls asleep and totals their car , the insurance has to pay, they can't say they not gonna pay because the driver should've been awake.

Now it would have accidents on the PBR with some jack trying to avoid these speed bumps. How can you put speed bumps on the PBR with emergency vehicles that use it on a frequent basis...

So instead of putting a chicane to slow drivers and force them to focus on the road and their driving, like a double mini-roundabout at each side of the intersection, the best solution they could come up with is speed bumps on an expressway? They have not even attempted to examine the real cause of the problem before attempting a solution. Just the cheapest which will be just as dangerous, if even more than before now.

They can make something like this work at that intersection. Divert the north-bound main road just a bit to the savannah direction.

Speed limit on the PBR is 65km/h.

That's no set of speed to slow down from for a speed bump. I assume they put the required signage on each approach to the intersection warning of the speed bumps.

What's the big deal?

i agree, once the bumps are not high and meant more as a reminder nuisance vs crawling over

lots of other places could do with low height ones

Emergency vehicles especially ambulances use the PBR as main road is usually jammed as fk, those speedbumps make no sense. Whats even more senseless is that the drivers that traversing along Macoya Rd still breaking the red and nothing has been out in place to deal with their foolishness

So all the accidents we saw on that camera at the junction, all were 65km/hr or less. Nobody was speeding or not paying attention.

Double mini-roundabout will work perfectly there.

I always liked the idea of roundabouts. They work well in the UK.

Roundabouts are a very effective traffic solution until you take the Trini bought license crew into consideration.

Driving instructors should put an emphasis on teaching how to use roundabouts of but again, the bought license crew not even present for that.

So we ignoring the fact that ambulances and police use the bus route....or they have to abide by the speed limit as well
