Authorities said they haven't found any evidence that Linton was under the influence of alcohol but prosecutors said she had at least 13 previous crashes — including a 2020 injury accident that totaled two cars — and knew the threat posed by her driving behavior, the Times said.

Something hit the barrier on the Freeport flyover northbound. Hope they didn't end up on the roadway below.

Not the cable barrier, the railing on the flyover itself

I wonder if most van drivers remember that the speed limit for vans is lower than cars.

Either way, that's a stupid move

A loaded van tray makes the pick-ups more stable on the road. I think they're designed that way, so it real easy to do stunts while empty at higher speeds because it already so high off the ground.

and hard brakes on a pickup can cause unstable bounciness with unloaded tray.

I put a few loaded concrete bricks in the back for almost 200lbs and made a huge difference
removed a lot of the bounce

newer pickups are now more in line with SUVs - similar weight class and handling and pretty solid safety ratings.

That said, many doh drive with common sense. The higher CoG, body roll like a thiccist from Arima in a bodysuit, and rear tyre sl/grip require different driving habits than a corolla or tiida.
