Mas designer missingMAS designer Kirby Mohammed has not been seen by his family since last Saturday.
Linda Mohammed said her son, who is also an interior decorator, left home in his white Nissan AD Wagon around 3.30 p.m. to “get material in Port of Spain”. He was expected home by 7 p.m.
Mohammed, who is managing director at Trinizuela Technical and Vocational College in San Fernando, said her second child made no mention of any problems and spent most of his time decorating.
“He also does costuming and designed a section for (Trini) Revellers. He was also designing for Miami Carnival,” she said.
The mother of four sons said it was unlike Mohammed to fail to contact her after such a long period.
“If he went somewhere and is going to be late, he always reports back.”
On Saturday, he said he would have returned home by 7 p.m. as they had tickets for a show at Naparima Bowl, San Fernando.
“He said he would come back in time for us to go the comedy festival in the Bowl. I was dressed and waiting and when I wasn’t hearing from him, I tried contacting him, but calls to his phone went to voice mail,” Mohammed said.
Missing person reports were filed at San Fernando and Marabella police stations.
Mohammed said she also contacted TV6 crime show host, Inspector Roger Alexander. Mohammed, 42, was last seen wearing a cream jersey, a pair of blue jeans and blue shoes.
