It is not so much the length of the trailer but the condition of the trailer eg. the pins.

In all the years of seeing containers locally.I've never seen anyone lock the pins. I asked a truckman a day and he say if he lock the pin and the container go to fall off then itll mash up his trailer as well and no one paying him for that.

I have seen that and doubted myself, that is piss poor practice! Only in Trinidad. Anyone else ever notice such?

It's silly season when a truck turning over turns to a political thread....elections come and go fast , ZR and UML making babies. It's no fun here anymore

Tuners have their opinions bro, a few don't like PNM and they should have known that this is a pro PNM site.

Not for the first time there has been a truck and trailer indecent at the corner of Queen and Richmond .

There are large trailers used by the shipping company on Queen and similarly large trailers that need to reverse into the Government Campus . That intersection is made tighter by the vehicle parking on both Queen and Richmond and the depth of the drains with a large hole on that corner.

As for the process of not locking the pins on a trailer . I though so because the movement of empty containers on the trailers has been a issue for a while . Some trailer trucks firms regularly maintain and change the pin . However in my humble view large trucks need much stricter regulations on our roads. I hope that no one in the cabin or pavement was seriously injured.
