Wtk- how do land surveyors charge

How do they charge for example to confirm boundaries
As well as make subdivisions to used for application to subdivide a larger parcel?

I around some guys who do developments & heard them say $5500.00 per lot.

paid 4000 a couple years ago for a lot about 7000 sqft large

but as stated above it depends on the headache involved

what about a surveyor who is to do subdivision of a land parcel
and also handle the complete t&c application for the residential approval of that subdivision into lots ?

Bumping thread to avoid duplicating. Pugboy, did you go through the process?

Anybody event went through with the process in subdividing land? Such as from acres to lots?

Any issues from converting from agricultural to residential use?

I understand that for acres of land, the developer has to leave some amount of land vacant for recreational purposes?

Some vary fees depending on acreage and accessibility. I always thought it was standard but it isn't. For reference, a 1.24 acreage cost about 10k in 2014. And a 740sqm house plot was 4k in 2016.
