Trinidad would still have a working oil refinery production to supply local demands thus insulating from world oil prices.
Man u full of shitt, so take another Tun Tun award for today
So the refinery that used imported oil and current market prices would have produced fuel and sold at a loss would have been good governance to you? Or maybe they would have refined local production, into fuel ran the refinery way below capacity and sold it at the pre-increased price, that would have been excellent business Zoom style?
Yeah I go take my award oui Worl Boss

You start good but you end bad when reach the Venezuelan partBlaze d Chalice wrote:I feel they should not only remove the subsidy completely, but continue increasing it after that.
Since trinis won't riot over something like that, they will put their tail between their leg and walk (literally)
The population would benefit in so many ways.
Use the money to build bike and walk paths all over the country.
Less vehicles on road.
Less of those big stink bedford truck toting 10X the maximum load, whose oil wasn't changed since manning alive, stinking out the air.
People health will improve (more exercise and cleaner air)
Less burden on the health sector from trinis, so higher priority can be given to the venezuelans who are in urgent need.
Etc.
