This is how it works, all religious schools only get the teachers salary paid and unitillies.

The school upkeep is the responsibly of the religious board. Repairs is at the boards expense.

They don't get tax payers money in their hands. That is why they always begging for donations.

These schools had money to build additional schools but the PNM refused the permission. It was the UNC that allowed additional religious schools to be build by these boards.

The schools have the right to hire as they please. You can't have a Hindu teaching in St Mary's or a Hindu in Asja.

Sat handles the administration aspect of the Maha Sabha.

The Hindu interests from a religious standpoint is handled by the Pundit Parishad. They vote on the spiritual head of the Maha Sabha - the Dhar­ma­charya and dictate the religious dogma

I know it wasn't the best interview and I don't see eye to eye with him on a lot of topics but I am really happy that I got the opportunity to sit down and talk with him. You can think what you want about him but even at 88 years old his mind was still impressively sharp and I could not help but respect that.

i doh agree boi, is because of men like sat it had racisim against indians, without men like sat, cro cro, sugar aloes, and others who put africans against indians racism wudnt happen. how much time yuh pass a bar and see indian an african limin cool cool, how much time you get help from a indian or african with no stress? is dese men who divide and concor, keep the masses divided and up to now it happening with the pnm and unc. indians used to prosper more under the pnm, pnm was founded by indians an put erik to get the black vote, men like sukeran, narase an other was the founding men but because them aint like bas they divide the country. bas is the only non racist.
