Why is there a problem to open a club ?
Cant a group of legitimate airgun owners not gather and shoot at some targets
in a proper location.

No trouble with customs to bring in the scope?

Nice under lever. Just be careful with it, especially when loading and if you plan to adjust the trigger.

Customs got no reason to become problematic with people importing their optics. The law hasn't change, so the most they might do is detain it and send it to preventive unit. Once you go with your permit they would release it to you.

Seeing that 150 got me curious. So, who here prefers under levers over break barrels? And why?

I personally prefer break barrels, i got some big obzokee fingers that don't suit them. Kinda fraid them for another reason too.

Personally the break barrel is better, the under lever takes a bit getting used to. The gun itself is really heavy and due to the recoil, the lever becomes unhinged sometimes

Actually the under lever tends to be a bit more accurate, barrel stays fixed in one place. And it does take some getting used to.
My trepidation with them is that sliding breech cover some of them use. With some of them its opened and closed by the cocking arm, and that arm is directly linked to the piston. One slip on the trigger with a finger in that port and u kno what will happen.

Some units have a locking mechanism built into the safety to help prevent this, and they do work as intended. but I eh taking those types of chances.

What's a good backstop to use for paper target practice?

Anyone uses putty or is that just wasting time?

I've been stacking old phone books and using them.

No, because I duct tape them together. They do spread as they fill with pellets though.

Backstops could be anything. Stacked old carpet works well also. I use a piece of 2" thick x 8" wide teak. works really well. No pellet going through that so easy.

I personally don't like to use phonebooks, eventually you have a lot of little shreds of paper to clean up.

streetbeastINC. wrote:Might be a dumb question but can you order nerf guns for kids or are those a problem with customs

Dunno if u got a reply but i ordered a couple nerf guns and had no problems. Once ordered a replica of ichigo's sword "zangetsu" turns out was unsharpened and customs seized it but gave me a bligh after a customs officer took my side and said it was a toy (bec it was unsharpened) wont recommend taking the chance tho.
