Wrinkling/Quilting of leaves in Tomatoes & Hot peppers

Postby OracleTnT » April 10th, 2017, 12:11 pm

Good Day All,
Home garden of tomatoes & hot peppers. Plants coming good, flowering, but the leaves started to wrinkle.
The only thing I using is bloun corn not very often. Any one knows of the cause and what I can use.
Hoping the reap some thing and not lose what I put in.

any other signs on the leaves? might just be the result of the hot weather we are experiencing. try watering them more often.

Too much bluecorn (sp?) can actually cause the plants to burn
Too much water is also bad and can cause root rot.

It's a leaf miner most likely. Take the leaf to your local agro shop and ask them.

Blaukorn (12:12:17-2)

Tomato leaf wrinkling and curling is usually a virus like tobacco mosaic virus.....never smoke near tomato plants, no cure

Peppers in dry season tend to be mites....use abamectin eg. Cure

most likely it is mites
pirate and pegastar works well but you may be better off buying peppers in the market when you hear the price of those
carlsen chemicals may have some cheaper alternatives
