i have one.. 9k BTU... its load As f**k.....and doesnt carry the time....parts are kinda expensive...despite it being a "sticker brand" or is it some ppl only know price.

seems to always needs cleaning....i'd say you cud get a better quality unit from toshiba or another reputable brand

side note
it currently in need of repairs as it stopped blowing cold.....so if any AC techs out there could fix it lemme know..please dont waste my time calling price and / or parts if you dunno what the hell youre doing.

I understand abel dont really stock parts and they only have at one branch.
The parts they have, they want pound and a crown for.
Dont know if its just me of they very similar to jack frost. Like similar similar (read between the lines).
Lennox, daikin, gree, miller are 4 brands off the top of my head are easy to get parts for. Same for comfee and ciac.
Toshiba makes nice units as well. But the boards are sealed. Cant troubleshoot those. If a part go, have to buy a new board. I suspect its voltage issues cause that and its easily rectified by a voltage monitor. Very nice units nevertheless.

Edit: abel dont service the units they sell. When money done pass, they done with you.
If anyone here working abel and wanna dish out some contract work for me, do shoot me a pm. Ill stock parts etc and handle after sales services in south.

At the same time, we have a jack frost at work. Works 24/7
Never broke down, working years now.
