I can help you with this response. You need to take the original hand written certified copy and take back into licensing. There is an amendment form that you need to fill out and explain the situation. They will retain a copy of the certified copy together with an application for a new one.

Just curious...is the entire# wrong or just a digit? Mine had a 5 instead of S. Even though i had the old original copy with the correct thing..i was told to bring the vehicle to L/O to have it corrected.

And, they not pushing through the transfer until they update the online info. She told me to call back in 4-6 wks because they have to run through the records on file i presume. I have submitted copies of all relevant documents which was used before this computerized system so i dont know why they couldn’t do the transfer. Anyone ever had this experience?
