Heard somewhere that if u have a Canadian visa u more likely to have a US visa approved.

not necessarily but it more or less guarantees a US transit Visa if u just stopping off on route to Canada

I thought it was the other way around, once u have US the CAN almost guaranteed

The Public Service Alliance of Canada declared a general strike beginning Wednesday, April 19th. As a result, bargaining groups representing 159,000 public servants are on strike. These employees provide a range of services for the public.

Biggest strike ongoing in Canada
Canada Revenue and immigration permanent employees .

Had a friend doing the virtual canadian citizenship Oath on zoom this morning it was cancelled 30 mins before .

so local Canadian visas or any immigration business will be delayed .

However, this applies only to travellers from these countries who have either held a Canadian visa in the last 10 years or who currently hold a valid United States non-immigrant visa. Panama
Antigua and Barbuda
St Kitts and Nevis
St Lucia
St Vincent and Grenadines
Trinidad and Tobago
Argentina
Costa Rica
Uruguay
Seychelles
Thailand

flights on the whole expensive like hell

before covid miami flights were 250-300 usd
now it hard to find anything under 600 USD

even guyana is $3000 tt plus

my mother paid $8000 for a YYZ flight last year

you have to apply for a canadian visa if you don't have a US visa or didnt have a canadian visa in the last 10 years

Air Canada starting back November though


I watching their schedule......Its thrice daily in July Aug that CAL is doing POS-YYZ
Plus there is one from Guyana daily.

Basically outsource visa processing to the US... Why bother getting a canadian visa if you havent held one in the past 10 years...that limits you to canada only. Just get a US visa and for $7 extra you could enter canada. Buy one get one?

this.....i dont know what all the yapping is about. you still need to have a cda visa for the last 10 years and / or a US Visa.

If you don have either of those, you will need to apply as normal.

Buy a bicycle tire pump in Canadian Tire. The Hydro rates in Ontario are high, and especially commercial rates during peak hours. The pressure pump doesn't run on Tim-Bits and hamster power.
