Applied online on Aug 14, called in to submit biometrics on Aug 16, awaiting confirmation on when to submit passport.

Still waiting on go ahead to send in my passport...

Got email to send in passport to Visa Application Center on October 25. Carried it in today, Nov 3. Waiting to see when I can collect passport with Visa.

Nov 9 - passport ready to collect from VAC

before covid miami flights were 250-300 usd
now it hard to find anything under 600 USD

even guyana is $3000 tt plus

my mother paid $8000 for a YYZ flight last year

Basically outsource visa processing to the US... Why bother getting a canadian visa if you havent held one in the past 10 years...that limits you to canada only. Just get a US visa and for $7 extra you could enter canada. Buy one get one?

you have to apply for a canadian visa if you don't have a US visa or didnt have a canadian visa in the last 10 years

this.....i dont know what all the yapping is about. you still need to have a cda visa for the last 10 years and / or a US Visa.

If you don have either of those, you will need to apply as normal.
