Crimes that not making news

Not sure as I have stopped watching local news, but there was a stabbing at the entrance of Movietowne in POS, and Artie's patties grocery was help up at gun point , yet I'm not sure how much attention these stories got. What other crimes have been committed that are not making main stream news?

Some robberies/home invasion has happened in gated big shot area in west, and you don't hear shiete, ever.
I notice when robberies happens in these places, it never gets any airtime.

If they try to report all the crime that taking place it won't have enough space in the newspapers or air time on tv. Look how much time they rob all them bars and grocery up by me and it never make news.

People cry that taking video of heinous crimes/ accidents is apathetic and cruel and you have to be a sicko etc.. but they are informative and there is a very slim chance that a lot of newsworthy story will make the established media outlets. Citizen journalism in it's raw form gives us the freedom to information and keeps the police and the media houses honest.

Two persons are expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate this morning on charges related to a robbery in Diego Martin on Saturday in which entertainer Nikki Crosby was one of the victims.

The two, aged 15 and 20, were charged on Monday and were due to appear in court on Tuesday to answer the charges.

The incident was said to have taken place at about 2:30 pm on Saturday, at Artie’s Meats along Four Roads, Diego Martin.
