You have a few choices. These all work differently. If you spray, use a coarse spray from a short distance.
Glyphosate (Round-Up, Swiper)
Glufosinate-ammonium (Zibo)
DCMU (Diuron)
MSMA (Drexar)
Paraquat (Gramoxone)
Atrazine - more selective; won't harm St. Augustine Grass

Bro go down Moruga with a pickup, a few spades and some padnas and dig out savannah grass for free.... Mark out 12 inch squares with the spade and shovel out in small mats....Ben_spanna wrote:Where or who has the most economical price on ZOYSIA and Savannah grass locally? need to start organising my front yard soon and from prices i have inquired around seems like its more expensive than land itself!

Are you crazy? Do you want to kill Medalist?

If you were to do a little research, you would find that studies indicate that the observed elevated risk of cancer, specifically non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, has consistently been equal to or higher when using paraquat as compared to the worst results ever published for glyphosate. And of course there is the heightened risk of paraquat contact poisoning.bluefete wrote:nismotrinidappa wrote:What you recommend bluefete. I use Viking and I just realise it's glyphosate
Paraquat! If you absolutely have to.
