So my store get broken into last week....(pics added)

so....my cellphone store get broken into last week on the 19th in the early hours of the morning

got completely cleaned out, my phones, customers phones, camera systems etc

men use a jack to break open the burglar proof on the side of the building and got in through there

came in wearing mask and cut the cameras inside, but in any event...the person inside was wearing a mask

went to make a report....was told more or less that in cases like this you never get back anything and never find the people.....

fingerprint people came and said the person inside was wearing gloves because you only seeing outlines, no prints or ridge detail etc



have a good bit of updates since then but will post it all when i get some time tonight

the reality is cameras are no longer a deterrent and if wearing masks totally useless.

too many places have burglar proofing which would require minimal effort to bust.
many cases the burglar proofing is poorly attached to wall(hit-it anchors) and with too few
some use rhs which is hollow and easily cut with a hacksaw.
heck, I often go bhagwansingh and buy 1/2" and cut it with a hacksaw myself in a couple mins
so it can fit on the pickup

also the design of the burglar proofing often doesn't have enough closed sections
so it only requires cutting a few sections and a big opening can be had.

all a burglar needs is a cordless angle grinder and they cutting easy, no need for jack
cutting locks too.

to realize the showcases cleaned out and everything missing
bout 3 hours after i realize the window they broke to get in

3rd time i get screwed in like 8 months

july last year i got carjacked and lost my car and a good bit of cash

xmas day i get held up with a bunch of phones and cash

Was going to suggest setting some sort of booby trap then remembered the guy in Marabella whose contraption maimed a neighbour who was continually stealing his food. He was subsequently charged and taken to court.

yes that video was from a raid the police did the next morning

all the cellphones/electronics/batteries/ in this police video are mine but it represents less than 10% of what was stolen

Dunno if it is a coincidence that the caroni chap got raided and happened to caught with your stuff.
But it certainly smells fishy.

that chap is a well known organized crime boss in caroni
A variety of rackets incl "protection money" extortion for small businesses in the area.
He is allegedly running joey ramiah brother(in jail) interests for him.
What area your store located ?

Caroni and cunupia police station are well greased, hence why the raid was done by chaguanas.
