Sounding like gas is escaping. 30mins later the freezer still coolin, compressor cycling normal. The only noticeable difference is that the exterior is feelin cooler now. Any suggestions what went on?
Hard start is last resort for a failing comp. I went by Reliable and bought a hard start kit to replace the capacitor.Came home and hooked it up according to the diagram on the packaging and it worked.Left it running overnight thinking it would be working this morning but back to square one where its blowing hot.Could it be a defective capacitor or the compressor bad?

How often do you do maintenance on your fridge? Have plenty fridge I took a peep on and the condenser clogged or not working properly. Head pressures would be sky high and so would current draw.
