Drivers permit renewal

Postby redmanjp » March 26th, 2018, 10:32 pm

Between Arima and St. James licensing office, which one quicker to go and renew my driver's permit?
I live Arima but work POS.

Took a chance with Arima, thought they had linx but turns out they don't (I believe they had at one point). Then end up having to go to three different places to get cash because the ATMs weren't working or in supervisor mode. That alone take me about 40 mins. Back at lic. office now. Guess I should have gone St. James. In that 40 mins plenty ppl would have probably come making the wait longer

Hopefully next renewal 5 yrs from now could be done online, or will we still have to have a fresh picture taken?

thanks guys - reason why i askin.. family friend has dual citizenship and returns to Trinidad often but her license is about to expire so it doesnt make sense she go for the 5 yr thing... better to pay the 1k for the 10 yrs and done....

so she doesnt hav to worry about the renewal for the next decade.

That would just be an extra endorsement on the license which is under $100 and would still be valid for the duration of the license.
