I am far from a professional collector but I do collect a lot of random stuff...(borderline Horder some may say )... Anyways buddy go easy on the "cleaning" of the coins you have as I have read that unprofessionally cleaning old coins actually causes there value to depreciate.

Just a little heads up and looking forward to seeing some pics, clean or uncleaned...
(Yeah that just doesn't sound rite..)

Buddy I have never had the need to do it myself but good ole Google has all the advice needed (mild soap solution, distilled water, gloves etc)

Just to ramble a bit I lived in Toco for a couple of years as a kid and unfortunately my brother and I came across what would have had to been an Ameriandian dump or something of the sort. We would ever so often find ax heads/cutting tools that to us served one purpose....skipping them across the sea to see how many tick, tack, toes, we could get out of them...sighhhh, (hurts just writing this), they were so soothe and fitted in our hands perfectly....My dad fortunately caught us one time and explained what the "Skippy stones" were and was able to donate a couple items to the museum over time. I think this is what planted the seed in me wanting to make amends by collecting old Trinidad memobilia.

My most interesting item atm is an Elvis Presley vinyl record that was produed by RCA Recording Studio in Trinidad and Tobago. I also have a Trinidad and Tobago $25 commerative coin. For the most part I won't part/sell items unless I have it at the minimum in duplicate, which is understandable difficult...and then even more difficult sometimes is putting a price on items like that.

I will however give a free shout out to The Burg Vintage Shop on Fitts Street, Woodbrook. I am not associated with it but the guy who owns it is a really chill dude with some niche items. Great place for any collector to check out or have a coffee...yes he insists...lol.

Do you plan on selling any of the Trinidad and Tobago $200 gold coins?
