At 10:44 PM Thursday 5th March 2020, a preliminary Magnitude 5.1 (Md or Mt) earthquake occurred 76 km NW of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, 100 km WNW of Arima, Trinidad and Tobago and 106 km NW of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago.
