Later tonight will be interesting,doubt many trinis will be having a normal nights sleep.Hoping people will do what they can to be ready incase something happens.

The principal of Bon Air Government Primary School send out a notice at 12:04 a.m. this morning, saying that the planned graduation is going ahead today from 10:00 a.m.

This is a MAD WOMAN brining children out against the directive of the MoE!

Yeah, even on windy it doesn't seem to be projecting the amount of rotation as it had before. Still alot of rain though.

One day a hurricane will have it's eyes set on trinidad and all the God is a trini ppl will never say that again when it leaves

high tide is 4am tomorrow,
not good as all the rain runoff from tonight will be draining off and ground is well saturated now
hopefully storm will be mainly wind if so and less rainfall

Normal rain, winds cause chaos in TnT.... remember hurricane IVAN blossomed into Category 5 over night.....

DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Bret was
located near latitude 10.0 North, longitude 61.3 West. Bret is
moving toward the west-northwest near 23 mph (37 km/h) and is
expected to gradually reduce its forward speed over the next 48
hours. On the forecast track, the tropical storm is expected to
begin moving moving away from Trinidad overnight and move near or
along the northeast coast of Venezuela on Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast during the next 12 to
24 hours. A weakening trend is forecast to begin on Wednesday and
Bret is expected to become a tropical depression by that time.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).


HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND

WIND: Tropical storm conditions have likely begun over portions of
the warning area, along the northeastern coast of Venezuela, and

moving toward the west-northwest near 22 mph (35 km/h) and is
expected to gradually reduce its forward speed over the next 48
hours. On the forecast track, the tropical storm is expected to
move away from Trinidad, move near or along the northeast coast of
Venezuela this morning, and move into the extreme southeastern
Caribbean Sea this afternoon and evening.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher
gusts. Little change in strength is forecast today, and a
weakening trend is expected to begin on Tuesday when Bret is
forecast to become a tropical depression.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 125 miles (205 km)
from the center. Point Salines, Grenada, recently reported
sustained winds of 39 mph (63 km/h) with a gust to 52 mph (83 km/h).

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
