Hope Maduro locks up this traitor. All reports say Guido and his people are very little numbers. The majority of the country want Maduro.

Sigh they are the unpatriotic lazy ones who didn't understand US sanctions against Venezuela were not the governments fault.

The turmoil in Venezuela clearly demonstrates what happens in a country where citizens cannot enjoy a proper quality of life and aspirations for personal and family well being continue to be frustrated.
Interestingly the history of this country over the decades suggest unrelenting pressure on the vast majority of the population (even when GDP was real good).
What we call the 1% phenomenon has long been a feature of this society.
What happens next is difficult to say.

- Trump threatens full embargo and sanctions on Cuba for aiding and abetting the Maduro government.

- Venezuelan government just shut down most of the internet in the country so Whatsapp and Telegram down.

- They also took CNN off air once footage of state military abusing citizens was shown.

- There is a record of protests against Maduro in Lima (Peru), Santiago (Chile), Mexico City (Mexico) and Washington (USA), as well as Cúcuta in Colombia, along the border with Venezuela.

- Rumors circulating that 2 US navy aircrafts deployed from the US heading to Venezuela.

- Russian private jet company lands in Venezuela. Left russia right after Guaido announcement.

Wow! This is history. Those are some funny circumstances. Why and who ordered the coverage to be cut? How could a 35 year old have the connections to overthrow a government and get sanctions in place since he was a boy, imposed by the most powerful country in the world, lifted.

I'm no conspiracy theorist but there is definitely more to this than we are being told.

DirecTV, Net Uno, Intercable, and Telefónica all received orders from Venezuela's government regulator Conatel to block CNN. A BBC spokesperson told CNN that BBC Global News had also been taken off the air in the South American country.

Yuo. I think if this change is successful we will here new twists to the story some decades down the road.

Like how the US threatened Cuba despite Cuba's assertion that they were not aiding Venezuela. Either Cuba lying or the US setting up and excuse to do something drastic to Cuba.

Maduro also stayed in Venezuela at Russia's (Putin?) request. Was there Russian aid that came in at the 11th hour?

This is some real sh!t going down.

In an hour-long speech, President Nicolás Maduro said he had defeated what he called a military coup attempt by Juan Guaidó, the opposition leader.

What Washington really means when it says 'it stands with the Venezuelan people'.

Opposition leader Juan Guaido and President Nicolas Maduro called for supporters to protest a day after violent clashes.

National security adviser John Bolton says Russia and Cuba are putting serious pressure on the Venezuelan government to resist handing over power. This comes as opposition leader Juan Guaido calls for a second day of protests.

Venezuela's Guaido pledges protest will resume as Maduro holds power.

A huge part of the problem is that a lot of the military that are loyal to MAduro are only so due to the fact that their families are taken care of and are housed and fed in a safe area, and their children receive good schooling, hold that in the balance for them if they refuse to defend him and what do you think will happen?

Exactly, dumb venes thinking Trump coming to save them. Trump could give a rat's ass about them, all he wants is their oil. He will install Guaido as a puppet and milk the country even more. But of course you'll see the Western media praise the US for saving Venezuela
