My S7 Edge works fantastic paid $2400 for it last year Brand New from Lets Talk. But we have this luxury today only because microchips have matured to the point where it is as powerful as a PC from a few years ago so there is no more need to upgrade your phone for performance as matured chips now barely get much performance improvements each year.
Screens now with very high pixel density is the norm, the human eye can't even notice pixels in mid range phones now.
However like every Samsung and most android phones the software is dog sh!t, it is bloated with sh!tty laggy android experience. They get slower with each new update etc.
There is noway I could ever recommend any of these trash to anyone, if someone really wants a proper smartphone running android the 2 most obvious recommendations are One Plus and Google Pixel for very obvious reasons.
One Plus for example is the fastest smoothest android phone out there thanks to no bloatware and a excellent refined Operating System, I does call Samsung the Sh!tty Experience especially mid range and budget Samsung phones. YUCK
I heard tho One UI has improved samsung phones, unfortunately my S7 Edge isn't getting that update. Still tho I wouldn't touch a samsung phone when Options like Pixel, One Plus and iphone are available. Only reason I bought the S7 Edge was for the OLED screen and cause of how cheap I got it. I like to watch fighting game tournaments on my phone, especially daily street fighter 5 replays from Pros and the OLED screen helps me drastically outdoors.

Honestly I just like the galaxy because they have the best screens and build quality is pretty nice. I also need a phone that's waterproof (I'm ok trading this off with the removable battery) and has expandable storage. I record hour long podcasts with my phone and it comes out pretty good.Zetski wrote:EFFECTIC DESIGNS wrote:Zetski wrote:S7 wukking good this will hut my eye now lawddd
