But good riddance to garbage. All who supporting fall for the PR machine.
So much more to say, but I'll leave it as is.
What we need is the right combination of integrity and arseholishness, you up for the job?

MaxPower wrote:Seeing plenty petitions going around in support of Gary.
You really feel ppl care about him?
All these petitions are fueled from Firearm dealers who don’t care about Gary or the safety of our citizens.
With Gary there, more FULs will be issued resulting in more processing fees and increased Firearm sales and services.

For Ramesh to run with this (besides the money), he's very confident of a win at the Privy Council level. If he wins at the lower courts and the PSC doesn't appeal, better yet.
Failgerald Hinds might end up watching GG face to face at national security meetings soon.

Please read Section 123(4) of the Constitution of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to see why the last paragraph of your comment will never occur.
Section 121(4) will also be instructive in a broader sense to understand administrative functions in Trinidad and Tobago.

To be appointed COP and the Gov't not providing proper support can mean operating with 'hands tied'.
The whole debacle must be causing good minded officers serious motivational issues.
When your ultimate boss is the state which is not known for the best management style and or adherence to proper checks and controls, ones ability to perform can be destroyed.
