North people don't really care you know. The response you looking for is a community response in the true meaning of community. Those kinda intertwined loving your neighbour communities are south and central to some degree but definitely not north.

get back to sanitizing hands etc in your car after going in places
i used to spray isopropyl on my hands on entry into car but started lapsing on that

This wasn't unexpected I guess, over if them lived with 8 ppl so surprised it wasn't more.

But this situation isn't good, it's out there for sure maybe dozens have it right now.

You should study that no one has been asking the hard questions. How was is contracted which area the individual resides, how long were they up and about, consequences for those who not abiding by public health ordinance. Who to contact to report possible public health breaches etc.

The business community is at large to blame for this. Too many small business have a sign saying no mask no service but still serving individuals who not wearing.

If anyone is to be tested positive in Trinidad are the Venezuelans and those returning from abroad in breach of self quarantine instructions.

Anyone else getting infected is due to their OWN irresponsibility and negligence.

These are the SAME people who are NOT wearings masks, refusing to wash hands and are like close up ticks around people.

Exactly this! If u tell these business ppl about this they does just shrug their shoulders. Even their own employees wearing their masks on their chin.

I know which businesses to avoid based on how compliant they are with masks.

nope, borders closed, that is not possible. the pnm had managed the covid very well, especially the movement in and out of the country.

In other countries they pool the tests from say 50ppl in a tight neighbiurhood and test as one.

i put that question to asha javeeds posts.... crickets. people asking, but crickets. the authorities are referring to the new cases as the primary contacts, thus not even considering to see who the first two got if from.

We shut down the first time after a few imported cases. Now is 8 local/community spread and not a decision being made. Elections come first.

* 3 children among those 5 cases.
* One child attended the Maraval RC school.
* Pupils and staff at school to go into quarantine.

You stupid bad, not saying the Trinis not supposed to be doing the outlined but you seem to think wearing a mask protecting yourself. The mask is to keep you from spreading it to others. So "if" it was contained in the first lockdown and isn't now then one can assume it came in and spread due to importation by the vene and their lack of adherence to our public health protocols. Carry on.
