If it spreading globally fast it won't even take 2 or 3 months. Remember to detect it u have to be sequencing plenty of cases and not even the US doing that. So it be there or soon to be there and they won't know so unless we require a 2nd pcr test for vaxxed travelers and quarantine at home pending a negative result then we asking for it to come in. At least I heard the pcr test can detect something about it that is different so u know it is a suspect case before u do any sequencing.
