Vaccines are compulsory, just as described by Rowley.matr1x wrote:De Dragon wrote:matr1x wrote:Online learning was going fine. They just want to vaccinate without dealing with long term consequences

The phizer vaccine was only submitted for review based on initial clinical trials 5 days ago. They are pushing hard for the vaccine approval.
By constitution and legal right, you cannot deny a child an education. What they are trying to do is fear monger parents into vaccination of their kids.
I have no issue with vaccinations but something voluntary being made into mandatory means dishonesty was used to gain public support for vaccinations.
With reports of cover-ups of covid cases in ministries to allegations that vaccine side effects are not even recorded by MoH one has to wonder if we are putting the wrong priorities first

Doesn't make sense they announce when they striking that's dumbadnj wrote:The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association (TTUTA) is preparing for a second strike that will see most educators switching off their devices and ceasing online classes.
Titled "Blackout the Sequel", teachers will be going ghost again on October 5, 2021.
The idea is that students ought not to be taught on this day, nor should teachers show up for active duty, save for perhaps submitting a "sick leave" notice.
The strike will commemorate World Teacher's Day which falls under the theme "Teachers at the heart of education recovery".
