Maxsonic Appliances

Postby lionofzion » October 20th, 2020, 6:10 pm

Hi everyone,

Been noticing that the Maxsonic/Maxsonic Elite brands are being heavily advertised on the market with various appliances and distributed by a lot of local stores.

Can anyone say:
1. Where is this brand manufactured?
2. What is your experience so far with the brand?
3. What is the warranty like?

Thanks.

MAXSONIC ELITE is a registered trademark of B.M. Electronics Limited.

Then you go to China and work out a deal with some manufacturers to create ODM products and apply your own brand name. Then import and sell locally. Quality? Can't make statements on that, but follow the rest of that story and determine it for yourself. Sometimes the ODM brand is basically the same item as a brand name because they're made in the same factory with the same components, but stripped down with generic software, or food items without the luxury additions. Something like how Walmart has Great Value brand and Costco has Kirkland and most are still good quality. Sometimes though the ODM brand is downright kaka.

You should contact BM Electronics and find out what their guarantee for quality on Maxsonic is compared to counterpart Brand names.

Some good points here. I agree.

Maxsonic elite??

Postby fokhan_96 » February 18th, 2021, 9:54 am

Any reviews on the Maxsonic Elite brand for appliances?
They seem to be flooding the market recently. Information on their website is very vague.

I see Massy Stores selling the brand - you can ask them about warranty

I have since bought a range hood and microwave from them. Working well but too early to give a review on reliability. Their range hoods are of really great build quality made with solid stainless steel and baffle filters. The microwave was an exact copy of another Black + Decker model I bought recently with same functions.

Maxsonic appliances have proven to be reasonably good and the local distributor (BM Electronics) do support their products.
Do not expect performance like the top rated brands, but value for money seems assured.
May make good sense buying directly from BM if purchase are non-credit type.

Also bought one of those stainless steel standing freezers from BM about 2 years ago. It works really well and the stainless steel hasn't shown any sings of minor rusting that I have seen with some other appliances a bit older.
I broke one of the plastic draws (dropped it while cleaning) and I was able to get a replacement same day from them (had to pay of course, like 300-400 for it), so they do stock parts and service.
As others said, it is still early in the game, but given the cost and the stylish look, I took the chance.
I have heard, it may have been from them or someone else in the show room that it is LG factory that making the line....don't take my word for this though.
