The fact that Musk retweeted straight up conspiracy garbage, who's source was the same site that "reported" Hillary Clinton died and was replaced by a body double, tells you everything you need to know about the mental stability of the crowd on the right.
Yes the same conspiracy theorist right wing nut Elon Musk who voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.

and he voted for Hillary Clinton '16 and Joe Biden in '20.
Generally not what's considered a ring wing nut. Seems like he votes on certain issues.
Tesla stock is down 50% from its highs. The product deliveries have faltered and century-old auto manufacturers are building better vehicles. Wall Street analysts are asking about the wisdom of the Twitter deal when Jack Dorsey is launching Twitter competitor. In the past, Musk's negative tweets have directly impacted the Tesla stock values and some have caused legal repercussions.shogun wrote:SuperiorMan wrote:shogun wrote:So Elon's first act of "free speech" on Twitter was to censor himself?

And here I thought people's critical thinking skills and discernability of facts could deteriorate depending on the credibility of the sources they get their information, no matter who they are?
So all the people blaiming Hugo Chavez voting machines for Trump's loss and looking for Chinese bamboo paper in the ballots all simultaneously got those theories out of thin air? Sh!t.
Why delete his theory though?

Institutional investors have been saying that Musk may be losing some of his magic and delving into areas and topics where lacks sufficient understanding.
Pulling the tweet may have been needed because of negative press - but that's just my opinion.

Why would that tweet be "negative?" You're basically answering my question.
The assertion is that it was a completely fair tweet not dipped in right-wing feeding trough nuttiness. Then there should be no need to delete it? He is allowed to have an opinion. But that's the point I'm making, Musk realized maybe a little too late that the accuracy and optics of that tweet might make most people question his decision making.
