prolly because it registered the session as US until it times out or you refresh the page lol

It will work after a refresh but will load the TT version. Unless u talking about watching a US version show without using up data? By the way when I had it for free there were ways to get more data. Just look at the site. Although I don't know if it will be enough to watch a whole movie

The US version still doesn't work on Apple TV with the Express VPN DNS settings. just says can't connect. I wonder if it can work on a Samsung TV with another VPN

Sorry, your payment method can’t be updated. Please double-check your card information or contact your bank for more information. ID: 26c4547c-6db2-47a9-be9e-6d4f7c15c330-hboMax-ad678d9a-9dd0-4fbd-bd41-1769cf3f44fa

I'm getting that error message, tried about four times, anyone knows a workaround. I'm using a TT Republic Bank Credit Card

yea I'm getting the same issue on PS4 and have confirmed firestick users not getting through as well.

The "Supported Devices" on HBO Max Latin America help section is below:

The following TV devices are supported:
+ Android TV
+ Apple TV
+ LG Smart TV
+ Roku
+ Samsung TV (2016 models and later)
+ Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

https://help.hbomax.com/tt/Answer/Detail/000001243

so if you have a samsung/LG/Android TV you could try downloading the app on the TV's own interface.

workaround for me right now is to use a laptop connected via HDMI cable to the TV, but really I just watching Disney+ instead because Disney works fine on Playstation and Firestick.

To install on fire stick and on Android tv, you have to go to a site like APK mirror and download the android tv app APK and install the latest version. Delete any version you got from the Amazon appstore before doing this.

You can use downloader on your firestick to do so or chrome if you have an Android tv.

RBL users may have to call before authorization. Hbomax does a suspicious pre-authorization and it triggers a block apparently. I have the 50% off first month deal.

This basically feels like when we just got Netflix in LATAM. The US version has more content still like Ford V. Ferrari which doesn't show up in our content. I have noticed also that VPNs don't work on it. Which VPNs you all are using?

Hover11

For me, HBOmax is included as part of my Flow package at no extra cost at the moment. I don't know if Flow may revise pricing in the future.

Personally, I won't pay for it unless I had a desire to rewatch some titles. I also think our content is not as wide as North America so that is a further negative to contend with.

Many of the programmes are either not interesting to me or I have seen already.

If you have Netflix and a Disney+ for kids I think you'll be good to go.

If you really want, try a trial subscription and see what you think before committing.

Same as Carluva.

The only advantage to me is the on demand ability...other than that it's just a smaller library of content...
My wife wanted HBO from Amplia...otherwise I wouldn't have it, so the HBOMax is free as of now...if they start to charge for it I probably will not subscribe.

it seems to be full of reruns and other crap. the cartoon network shows they talked about turned out to be the crappy weird looking cartoon that CN shows now and not the shows from CN in the 90's. IMO it not worth the $24 USD just like Disney plus also is a waste of $8 as they had an opportunity to open the disney vault and show the classic disney shows from the 80's and ear;y 90's but instead it pivots on star wars and simpsons, shows that you can get for free on 123 movies. paramount plus is a better option IMO better than netflix.

HBO MAX - $25
DISNEY $8
NETFLIX $9
VPN $13
AMAZON PRIME $6
APPLE TV $5

TOTAL $66 USD A MONTH

Anyone have hbomax from digicel? Is it a shared profile that you log on to? Or do you have your own profile?
