I'm looking to get some grafted citrus fruit trees, specifically for pots. I have no desire to plant in the ground.

Where can I get some good grafts which are suitable for pots? Looking for lemon, lime, orange (pineapple, parson or king), grapefruit and portugal.

I came across a few places on Facebook. Called this one and he said he has but I'm not sure how good the plants are.

I have a lime tree that bore one enormous lime two years ago, and nothing since
It struggled for the first two years. At year tree, I pruned the hell outta it and it repaid me with three flowers and one fruit
Nothing ever since

You need to make a chemical cocktail for it. Nitrobor,Xtra power , sugar express, oxicup, harvest more, ph+. Mix a pigtail bucket and dose him heavy.

Are you sure that this man sells good plants? I will call him.

You know I am doing over the septic tank, right? On that same side of the yard I had a lime tree which started to bear four years ago after being there for about 8 years before. Last year I kid you not when I tell you I got over 1000 limes from it. I had to remove that tree to run the new septic system.

I also had a grafted orange tree which had to be removed as well. It was about 6 feet tall and started to bear oranges this year. That was purchased about 2 feet high and already had fruit at time of purchase. It took 3 years for this tree to be allowed to bear as I was removing any fruit the last two seasons to allow the tree to get a bit bigger.

When I tell you - I nearly cried when I saw those trees go, especially the lime tree.

So now, on that side, I want to do a row of citrus but in the pots this time so as to keep them at a good size and to prevent roots from invading the new septic system and drainage.

You have any first hand experience with this guy from Instagram? He's not gonna sell me duds, right?

Called them a while ago. Sounds like they are for real and genuine. Agree with your statement on the posts on FB and IG...

The lady I spoke to said the plants are ideal for pots and ground.

I checked their FB page and they have a wide variety of fruits. Liking the Meyers Lemon for fruit and aesthetics.

Beware guys, citrus greening disease is very real in Trinidad. It's the reason why Min of Agriculture stopped selling citrus.

By the way, i know of a lime tree going 34yrs good. It had a rebirth event about two years ago. Just started drying up, and I thought it was a goner, but new branches just start shooting out of it and is like the same old tree again! Real nice juicy lime from that tree

Was told by a propagator that the seeds are extremely small and hard to set. If you look good, some of the "chive" selling is actually spring onion. You could try to replant the bulb and it should grow.

Really would like to get some to plant

I will keep an eye out
