People all over the World eat anchovies on their pizza

It's similar to smoke herring - very salty rather than smokey .
And it's an acquired taste .

if you make thin pizzas in brick oven that have to be launched with a peel
heavy wet ingredients like pineapple are def a problem, the dough can get wet thru the bottom and stick to the peel when launching

Spinach on pizza does rel lash too
