So you ok with a THREE year old wearing a mask for 6 hours a day ....sure that not gonna lead to any breathing complications or anything , remember these are children, guess proper lung development doesn't matter.

cause they not gonna keep that on for long, especially if they running around playing, and the teacher will hadda be study behind them to put it on. eventually that person will get annoyed and take a tone with the children, and the children will not see the purpose.
u getting bawl up for sumting that not making sense and uncomfortable.
and for what gains? what use is it to children that age?

Children will bring the virus home, where their parents and elderly grandparents will get it.

the ADULTS would have the vaccines, so shoudl be safe from the children.

and children int he same room for more than an hour, WILL spread that virus, mask or not, since the last findings was that it was air borne up to 60ft and for hours indoors.

You are aware that there's a subset of the population who cannot receive the vaccines for valid medical reasons? This is kinda specific to these cases, but it does not undermine the relevance.

I'm aware however that's a minority if a 70 sum year old man with heart conditions can take the vaccine is a low number that can't....just saying I find it illogical to send child below the age of 12 to school given they don't see the importance of masks and will not understand such.....let's be real children are not clean or sanitary

70 yo dude with heart conditions does not negate the act of a 3yo wearing a mask for 6 hrs is abuse.

if u want to send the kid to school, keep grand pa away from him, ensure all adults in the house are vaccinated... cause mask or no mask, 6hrs indoors WILL cause spread, eventually.

in addition to those who can't take it for medical reasons, a lot of others are hesitant due to all the misinformation ( which the US surgeon general declared a public health emergency- not the virus, but misinformation). these ppl would end up getting it and rapidly fill hospital beds. the US had a level of herd immunity for the previous strains but the level is no match for delta.

98% survival rate and the majority of deaths is people who never took care of their health in the first place, even active old people get over it normal.

Children are healthy and robust (as long as you don't pump them full of corncurls and chubby, and keep them behind a screen)

Yall don't find this thing honestly kinda dystopian dawg? Does break my heart to see a child with a mask.

The face shield might be a better idea for children.

Whatever you parents decide, either mask them or keep them rugmonkeez at home if you have to go out.

Masks are a scientifically proven way to reduce the spread of the virus. A good properly worn mask can help significantly more than no mask at all.
The virus is spread mainly through the mouth and nose and last I checked, kids have mouths and noses and breathe just like adults. So yes masks are effective for kids also.

Why do we continue to go around in circles with the antivaxxer and covid deniers. Let Hoover and the others take their chances. All semblance of rational discussion gone in every covid related thread, we're almost at the same stage as the ZR crew vs Habit and the rest...

Are kids known for washing their hands and keeping their distance?

Also, old boomers are easy to brainwash into adhering to covid regulations. They will believe anything a doctor tells them till they dead (literally, sadly)

Washington (CNN)The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to recommend everyone in K-12 schools wear a mask, regardless of their vaccination status, as it updates its masking guidelines on Tuesday, according to an administration health official.

The CDC is also urging vaccinated people in certain areas of the country to resume wearing masks because of Covid-19.
