It appears that there will be no let-up in price increases as it will now cost more to drink a beer in 2022. Carib brewery announced increases to several of its products.

Couldnt happen at a better time, together with angostura raising rum price in december 2021 and nfm raise flour price in january 2021 all i need now is witco to raise sigarette prices and i will be the healthiest man around as i will stop all.

depends, I've seen estrella sell for half price at Massy and even less at Bottlestop, Blue Moon was $60 a case at a few places recently as it was close to expiry same for Hurricane Reef, over the Christmas, Modelo was buy one get one free, the owner of Saugatuck brewery is a client of mine, it's not selling well locally because of it's pricing so recently Bottlestop had them at a good price. So if you're an at home/with your circle type drinker and you know how/when to shop you could easily full your fridge for less than local

With so many foreign brands available almost everywhere as well as craft offerings, what's a "good beer" that's so hard to find?

Stouts and porters. Most places I check only have abbey beers and dark ales etc. No "black bottle" as we Trini does call it.

coincidentally it was during a BBQ when I was running the pit. I always have a sampler plate while BBQing so that would explain it.

Pairs well with diff kinds of food.
