Sources told Guardian Media that two vehicles blocked the victim’s car—a gold-coloured Nissan Tiida—from in front and behind.

Gunmen then exited those vehicles and opened fire on the man, who was seated in the vehicle.

Several residents in the area said the man was not known to them and expressed shock over the killing.

Investigations are ongoing.
