When BRICS+ fully operational, the european economy would not matter to them.

It was nato that wanted to hurt Russia by stopping Russian oil. It didn't happen.

Eveybody is sourcing from every where else.

China and Russia are building a pipeline that will replace the economics of the nordstream.

That may be Saber rattling, but not a threat. It's a reminder.

America using the pretense of war crimes to enter directly IS world War 3.

Russia will continue until elensky calms down.
And will react to any escalation proportionally.

If Biden and nato want to go, he just told them he is ready

It seems as if starting a war is like having your car stolen. If you don't get it back within the first few days, you probably never will.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war has set off a historic exodus of his own people. Initial data shows that at least 500,000, and perhaps nearly 1 million, have left in the year since the invasion began — a tidal wave on scale with emigration following the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution and the Soviet Union’s collapse in 1991.

Now, as then, the departures stand to redefine the country for generations. And the flood may still be in its early stages. The war seems nowhere near finished. Any new conscription effort by the Kremlin will spark new departures, as will worsening economic conditions, which are expected as the conflict drags on.

After a year of war, Russia has recorded up to 200,000 casualties on the battlefield while Ukraine’s number around 100,000, according to Western estimates. There have also been as many as 30,000 noncombatant casualties, in grim numbers that represent the human toll of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion.

The British Defense Ministry said last week that Russia’s military and mercenary groups had suffered up to 200,000 casualties, including up to 60,000 killed. The figure was similar to the estimate of 180,000 Russian casualties given last month by Norway’s top military official, Gen. Eirik Kristoffersen. Last week, the White House said more than 30,000 members of the Wagner Group, a Russian mercenary outfit, had been killed or injured.

They still aren't using theur full arsenal.
They are still in special operations mode.

its still not to TAKE OVER the whole country. Just to liberate the ethnic Russian eastern regions.

Only problem is the arms nato keep sending.

Nato seems to be trumping up war crimes, to enter into the conflict outright.

If Ukraine is still there, by that time, u would see Russia meeting expectations.

The only Ru weapons they aren't being used in any significant way are airplanes because they lack air superiority.

Apart from that they are using thier full military and still cannot defeat a numerically inferior opponent.

But continue coping.

Jailing protesters never seems to work in the end.

Russian authorities have taken several people into custody for opposing the Ukraine war on the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of its neighbor, rights groups and media outlets reported on Friday.

At least eight people were detained in Yekaterinburg, the fourth-largest city in Russia, according to OVD-Info, a Russian human rights group that tracks arrests of dissenters.

People across Russia actively protested against the war in Ukraine during the first week of the invasion in 2022. But large rallies fizzled out after thousands were detained.

Still, single-person protests have continued throughout the year. Ben Hodges, a former commander of US Army Europe, told DW on Friday that it is difficult to estimate how much actual support for the war there is among the Russian public.

"We will never know for sure... but I would not mistake a stadium full of people waving Russian flags as strong support," Hodges said, adding the best indicator of opposition to the war was that hundreds of thousands of Russian men had fled the country to avoid conscription.

There appears to be no Ukrainian surrender in sight, according polls. There's even a pro-Ukrainian majority in the eastern regions.

Apart from Russia and a few dictatorships the world views Crimeans as Ukrainians. Even Trinidad views Crimea as Ukraine (see UN General Assembly Vote 68/262)

There is no question to answer.

Seventy-five years ago, after freeing Crimea from Germany, Stalin deported nearly every non-Russian ethnicity to Siberia.

Thirty-five years ago, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, many of those deported families returned to Crimea.

Thirty-one years ago, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Crimea chose to leave the Soviet Union as a region within Ukraine.

It's very sad that you have such strong convictions regarding topics that you truly fail to understand.

The crimeans really resented the Russian invasion in 2014 that they lived peaceably for the nearly decade after.

Sheesh.

But good Ole imperialist like to share democracy anywhere so long as it's according to their goals.

2013 Poll pre Russian annexation. 67% of Crimeans wanted to stay in Ukraine in one form or the other.

Funny how opinions change once the little green men showed up.

Video went viral claiming Zelenski said US sons and daughters will have to die fighting for Ukraine - but that was taken out of context and watching the whole video clip shows that is not what he said

Evry ting is escalating, slowly, but up.

What America is projected to send, would NEED American troops there.

Since America said they will stand with Ukraine to the end, it means it will keep growing.

We will not have a distinct start of WW3 like a school bell. We will just look back and realize that Europe via nato, plus America is fighting Russia+ China+ iran

And other markets feeling the crunch.

The world War started like a boiling frog.

Bad situation in Bakhmut.

"A retired US Marine fighting alongside Ukrainian forces said a fighter's life expectancy on the front lines in Bakhmut was around 4 hours."

According to war historians this has been probably the deadliest land battle since Stalingrad in WW2.

Soledar direction situation as of 20.00 March 3, 2023

In the north of Bakhmut, assault detachments of PMC "Wagner" advanced in the Ilyinovka area, gaining a foothold on Rechnaya Street . Now the offensive continues along the 1st Rechny Lane .

▪️In Zabakhmutovka, the “Wagnerites” completely cleared the territory of the Taurus meat processing plant. At the moment, there is an advance to the south towards the autodrome.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine withdrew a significant part of their forces to the opposite bank of Bakhmutka , blowing up the bridge across the river. With this decision, the Ukrainian command actually abandoned some of the units still located in the eastern part of the city to the mercy of fate.

▪️In the south-east of Bakhmut, quarters on Boris Grinchenko Street have been completely liberated. To the northwest of the waste sorting plant, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to resist.

▪️To the south, Russian units advanced along Independence Street to Tselyannaya Street . In addition, the “Wagnerites” managed to drive out the Ukrainian formations from several strongholds near the cemetery and occupy the forestry cooperative.

In the south-west, PMC assault units successfully attacked a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine west of Krasnoe . Fighting continues near the Bakhmut-Konstantinovka highway.

▪️ Detachments of English-speaking mercenaries have been completely withdrawn from Bakhmut: now foreigners are equipping firing points at positions in Chasov Yar . At the same time, the bridge on the road from Bakhmut was also blown up.

▪️In order to contain the pace of the offensive, assault groups of the special operations forces of Ukraine were sent to Bakhmut. Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine randomly fires at the areas of advance of Russian troops.

▪️Targeting to the enemy is provided by UAV and copter crews. Over the past day, the work of 38 drones of various types was noted, including Leleka-100, Mavik-3, Matrix-300, and Valkyrie.
