Lol..............there is only one country right now that has invaded and expanded another country in Europe and its not any NATO country.
Why not accept the country that has ACTUALLY been invaded?

Finland was invaded by the Soviet Union. The USSR then seized the Karelian Isthmus. The USA gave military and financial support. The USSR withdrew but kept Karelian.

Same playbook.

Admit Ukraine, the current country invaded. They asked for membership as well.

Or the play is to let Russia pull back and keep the donbas, then admit Ukraine decades later?

An explosion tore through a cafe in Russia’s second-largest city Sunday, killing a well-known military blogger and strident supporter of the war in Ukraine. Some reports said a bomb was embedded in a bust of the blogger that was given to him as a gift.

Russian officials said Vladlen Tatarsky was killed as he was leading a discussion at the cafe on the bank of the Neva River in the historic heart of St. Petersburg. Some 30 people were wounded in the blast, Russia’s Health Ministry reported.

Russian media and military bloggers said Tatarsky was meeting with members of the public when a woman presented him with a box containing a bust of him that apparently blew up. A patriotic Russian group that organized the event said it had taken security precautions but acknowledged that those measures “proved insufficient.”

In remarks recorded on video, a witness said that a woman who identified herself as Nastya asked questions and exchanged remarks with Tatarsky during the discussion.

The raid of the historic Monastery is not the first house of worship to be raided and the clergymen arrested. See a connection? Zelensky is shutting down churches, arresting clergymen, and installing those who worship him, while in America the transtifa crowd is attacking churches and christians, and getting praised by the jackals.

From the article:
This Saturday morning (April 1st), Ukrainian security forces raided the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and forced the governor (chief priest), Metropolitan Pavel, to sign a search warrant, before taking him for questioning.

He is being charged with “inciting inter-religious hatred and justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.”

Finland’s main conservative party has claimed victory in a tightly-fought parliamentary election.

With all of the votes counted on Sunday, the centre-right National Coalition Party (NCP) came out on top at 20.8 percent. They were followed by the right-wing populist party, The Finns, with 20.1 percent, while Prime Minister Sanna Marin’s Social Democrats garnered 19.9 percent. With the top three parties each getting around 20 percent of the vote, no party is in a position to form a government alone. Over 2,400 candidates from 22 parties were vying for the 200 seats in the Nordic country’s parliament.

“We got the biggest mandate,” NCP leader Petteri Orpo said as he claimed victory, surrounded by supporters in a restaurant in the capital, Helsinki.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/4/2 ... arly-count

All the major parties in Finland's election supported their actions in assisting Ukraine and the NATO application so this doesn't affect those. Finland still becomes NATO's 31st member tomorrow.

Orpo, 53, told The Associated Press news agency on Sunday that Finland’s solidarity with Ukraine would remain strong during his tenure.

“First to Ukraine: We stand by you, with you,” the former finance minister said at the NCP’s victory event.

“We cannot accept this terrible war. And we will do all that is needed to help Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, because they fight for us. This is clear,” Orpo added.

“And the message to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is: Go away from Ukraine because you will lose.”

The least that site could have done is use a photo of the current Brazilian President and not the former one.

Scoff of u will.
The end of the us dollar is approaching soon.
Saudi Arabia and Iran forging peace, and Syria being invited to become part of a greater Arabian pact all spell demise of us influence in the middle east.

This urkaine proxy offensive by the us is the last heaves of a dying super power.

It's only European governments supporting America... Nobody else.

Last time someone tried to get rid of the US$, we saw the rise of the Arab Spring in 2014.

Saddam, Gaddaffi and others wanted to form a Pan-African currency to replace the US$.

That did not end well.

CNN — Finland officially became the 31st member of the the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on Tuesday, marking a major shift in the security landscape in northeastern Europe that adds some 1,300 kilometers (830 miles) to the alliance’s frontier with Russia.

The Nordic nation’s accession was sealed during a formal ceremony at NATO headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday.

Finland’s acceptance into the US-led security alliance presents a blow to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has long sought to undermine NATO, and before invading Ukraine, demanded the bloc refrain from further expansion.

The invasion instead drove non-aligned Finland and Sweden to abandon their neutrality and seek protection within NATO, though Sweden’s attempt to join the bloc has been stalled by alliance members Turkey and Hungary.

On the eve of Tuesday’s ceremony, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg heralded the raising of the Finnish flag for the first time at the alliance’s headquarters in Belgium, saying “it will be a good day for Finland’s security, for Nordic security, and for NATO as a whole.”

Putin fires one of his top generals after 'heavy casualties' - and more military dismissals are likely to come

Vladimir Putin has fired one of the top generals leading Russia's forces in Ukraine, the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has said.

In its latest intelligence update, the MoD reported that Colonel-General Rustam Muradov has been dismissed as the commander in charge of the Eastern Group of Forces (EGF).

The group has become known for its failed attacks, including one on the eastern town of Vuhledar, which ended with dozens of tanks being destroyed.

The MoD said the EGF has suffered "exceptionally heavy casualties" due to its "poorly conceived assaults" and repeated failures to capture Vuhledar.

As a result, the operations have attracted "intense public criticism" across Russia - including from Mr Muradov's own troops.

"He is the most senior Russian military dismissal of 2023 so far, but more are likely as Russia continues to failure to achieve its objectives in the Donbas," the MoD said.

Ukraine war live updates: Kyiv potentially willing to negotiate on Crimea; Wagner boss says Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut 'not going anywhere'

Kyiv has disclosed a rare willingness to negotiate with Russia — depending on the outcome of its spring offensive, a top advisor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview.

The discussions would focus on Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula, which Moscow illegally annexed in 2014, and would take place if Ukrainian forces reach Crimea's "administrative border," the official said.

KYIV — Ukraine has not changed its plans for the return of territory occupied by Russia, including Crimea.

“Ukraine will choose the way to bring Crimea back, using political and military means,” Tamila Tasheva, the Ukrainian president’s envoy on Crimea, told POLITICO.

“To minimize Ukrainian military losses, minimize threats to civilians who live in occupied territories, as well as the destruction of civilian infrastructure, Ukraine plans to give Russia a choice on how to leave Crimea. If they don’t agree to leave voluntarily, Ukraine will continue to liberate its land by military means,” Tasheva added.

Her comments come after Andriy Sybiha, deputy head of the president’s office, gave an interview to the Financial Times in which he said Ukraine might be ready to discuss the future of Crimea with Moscow if Kyiv succeeds in achieving its strategic goals on the battlefield.

The Russian sales will go above the price sanctions. So payments will be restricted/capped there.
The problem is, the rest of the payments will be done in some other currency.

So, that will reduce trade of USd, and encourage trade outside of USd.

The world is shifting....

24 more Ukrainian children have returned to Kherson from Russia, authorities say

Twenty-four more children from the region have returned home on Monday, after being taken illegally to Russian territory, Kherson authorities said.

"Today, I met them in Kherson to talk to them and present them with nice gifts," Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, said in a Telegram post.

"This was one of the most difficult rescue missions. The Russians interrogated the children for 13 hours and later forced them to participate in a propaganda report," he said. CNN is unable to independently verify this claim.

However, a February report from US State Department-backed Conflict Observatory by the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab alleged Moscow's involvement in an expansive network of camps where kids underwent “political reeducation."

"The main thing is that now the children are home with their families. Daring to live, daring to be happy again," Prokuduin said, adding "we are grateful to the volunteers of the Charitable Foundation 'Save Ukraine,' who made incredible efforts to rescue the little Ukrainians from Russian captivity."

"We will definitely bring home all Ukrainians illegally detained by Russia!" he said, but did not share additional details about this latest "rescue mission."

More on family reunification efforts: This comes after a group of 31 Ukrainian children was reunited with their families over the weekend — months after they were taken from their homes and moved to Russian-occupied territories.

Allegations of widespread forced deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia form the basis of the International Criminal Court's war crimes charges against Russian President Vladimir Putin and a senior Russian official, Maria Lvova-Belova.

The Office of Ukraine's President recently estimated the total number of Ukrainian children forcibly removed from their homes is at least 20,000. Thousands of cases are already under investigation, Kyiv has said. Russian denies it is doing anything illegal and says it is bringing Ukrainian children to safety.
