Big story this weekend in Formula 3 as Barbados driver Zane Maloney had a big crash on Saturday but came back and placed first in the race on Sunday at Spa

What the f#$#$%## was Lewis Hamilton thinking????
Trying to pass Fernando Alonso on the outside on lap ONE???!?!?!!! Settle down and eat him up on lap three or four. That track is very overtake friendly.
I think if he could, he would just take the rest of the season off and come back next year. He done switch off. He running on Alex Albon power setting or something now.

Many things went wrong during the safety car.
1. The team strategists probably believed that with George between Lewis and Max they would've been able to hold Max off til the end. (honestly I think that was risky). But George got his engineer to agree to the stop for soft tyres, putting Max directly behind Lewis with tyre advantage. They should've denied George's request and kept them in that order.
2. Lewis went too early on the restart. He should've backed up the pack almost to the start line to reduce the slipstream max had.

Sergio deserved that win, i would think that Singapores humidity is why the track just couldnt seem to dry out, but great racing, fabulous without drs...

Max on another level now...if Rbr keeps giving him a car remotely close to the top, he'll keep winning

Thanks for this link... Really wanted to hear what the sky sports analysts were saying about the Gasly near miss.

I believe that the FIA should let teams know when there are recovery vehicles/marshals out on track so they can relay that to their drivers. Conditions were really poor

They cant really strip him of his title as precedent was set with crashgate in 08. Basically FA as an individual could not have been punished for the error of his team, and if they did DQ the drivers, Ham will have to be stripped and Massa awarded the championship. In other words, RBR will have the FIA tied up legally and likely win if they try to go that route.
As is, from what the supposed infarction is, its likely RBR will win if they challenge it anyway (anyone interested can read up on the rbr canteen being the source)

The Ferrari pit crew releasing the car with the fuel hose attached is what cost Massa the race.

Renault and Piquet may have started the safety car process with the intentional crash, but to strip away the title from Lewis for something that wasn't his team's fault is nonsensical.

It's not based on that race - it's based on Renault's drivers being excluded across the season and points reassigned accordingly. It was raised all those years ago by Ferrari and FIA stated explicitly - the driver (Alonso) will not be penalized for the fault of his team (by not stripping his points)

Incredible drive from max today to catch Hamilton after that poor pit stop by RB… ties Schumacher and Vettel for most wins in a season.. RB deservedly wraps up the constructors as well

Them stripping the title from Max was never gonna happen. Remember Spygate and Crashgate, both of which I think, were worse than a minor overspend. The constructors were punished but the drivers weren't. Atleast that's how I see it and I hate Horner, Max, Marko and most of the RBR crew except Hannah so an unbiased opinion :D
