Please recommend someone locally who Fixes Circuit Boards (Whirlpool Stove)

Postby SuperMan9999 » June 22nd, 2022, 3:43 pm

Please help the parts industry is in supply chain issues I need a LWF7230b circuit board for my Stove oven whirlpool I can't find it anywhere, my second thought is to find someone who can maybe fix the circuit board?

Also a technician who could probably handle everything I would be more than grateful if you can give me a number for such person.

You check Reliable? Or Parts World? They have technicians who repair appliances.
Well if they don't have it, what exactly is the plan on how someone else can help you without said replacement part?

Check Micro-SMD Lab, maybe it's something simple to replace on the board itself and he would happen to have the component (unlikely).

What's the part number on the board?

As was already advised, take a picture of the model number and head to PWL parts counter in Barataria. You will get further advise at that point.

Check Lewis Appliances as well. They have capable repair people. You will have to give them the circuit board number and they will guide you accordingly.

most of the local companies will not repair the board, only swap in /out. Check and see.

You might need to check an electronics repair shop for them to assess which component(s) have failed and they should be able to handle it.

If it's a complex multilayer board you might be sheit outta luck.

I recently had a problem with the board on my front loading Kenmore.

The board comes with a thick layer of silicone stuck on top of it making it impossible to diagnose/repair. It's supposed to be there to waterproof the board, but it also ensures that the companies get sales on parts as well.
