No sense in stealing it.

Parts you can find side the road and it does not blend in. Very few have much of anything in common with the other as it's a mix and match due to parts availability. Easier to buy online or from a parts place than buy a hot item.

So many 'high end' and expensive vehicles are being stolen daily. What I cannot understand however is the following:

You know you spent tens of thousands of dollars (if not hundreds of thousands) to purchase your vehicle. Instead of rimzin dong yuh vehicle, why not prioritise that extra 4k+ and get proper GPS?
After all is banana Republic Trinidad we living in..

Not much Hondas in here either.
The cars being stolen are more in demand by a certain demographic.

Stolen cars used for robbery demographic.
Plenty of those bamboo places have hot parts.
Let's not be naive, but most of those cars stolen are being used in criminal activity and not for parts.

correct
mid range newish cars are what the bandits go after
those cars won’t raise suspicion when they go in the target neighbourhoods to do their home invasions

they abandon the cars after so they need a steady supply of them
